My Events
My Events, at /my-events, shows every event hosted by the organizations you post for. Each event is a card with one-tap status buttons and the counts that show whether it’s filling. Show as list switches to a table. Below the events are your team’s Teams Looking posts.
My Events appears as a tab at the top once you’re a contributor or admin of at least one organization. Members with the View role don’t see it. Logged out, the page asks you to log in.
Top of the page
Section titled “Top of the page”The heading “My Events” reads “Events hosted by the organizations you post for.” Post event on the right opens the post event form.
Include past events adds events that have already ended. It’s off by default, so the page starts with upcoming events only.
Event cards
Section titled “Event cards”Each card shows:
- The event name, linked to its event page, with a Hidden (reported) badge if reports hid it or a site admin removed it.
- The dates and city, plus the organization when your events come from more than one.
- Open, Near capacity, and Full buttons for upcoming events. The current status has a check mark. Tap another to change it; tap the current one to confirm it’s still right. The page confirms with a message like “Pierz Invitational: Full.” Cancelled events say Cancelled instead. Hidden and past events have no buttons.
- Manage, which opens the event page (the same as selecting the event’s name; Edit is at the top there), and More with Duplicate and Copy to next season for upcoming events or Post next season for past ones.
- The counts: teams attending (as “6 of 8” when you set Teams wanted; it opens the list on the event page, where Add a team adds one yourself), teams looking fit (linked to that list on the event page), watching, on the wait list, and views.
Changing a status sends the usual emails to watchers, and to wait-listed teams when an event reopens. To cancel an event, use More > Cancel Event on its page, which asks you to confirm. See Event status.
Under the cards: “Views count visits from people outside your organization. “Teams looking fit” counts open Teams Looking posts that match each event.”
Show as list
Section titled “Show as list”Show as list at the bottom switches to a table; Show as cards switches back. The table is sorted by date and has these columns:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Dates | Start and end dates. |
| Event | The event name, linked to its event page. |
| Organization | Which organization hosts it. Shows only when there are events from more than one. |
| Status | A menu for changing the status in one step. Hidden events show “Hidden (reported): edit to fix”, and removed ones show “Removed”. |
| Views | Visits to the event page from people outside your organization, counted once per browser session. |
| Teams | Teams on the attending list (marked by their coaches or added by you), as “6 of 8” when you set Teams wanted. |
| Looking | Open posts on the Teams Looking board that fit the event. |
| Watching | People watching the event. |
| Wait list | Teams on the wait list. |
| Actions | A gear (Manage event, which opens the event page), plus a copy icon (Duplicate event) for upcoming events or a calendar-plus (Post next season) for past ones. |
Select any column header to sort by it or filter it. With more than 50 events, the table splits into pages. The status menu doesn’t offer Cancelled (except on an event that’s already cancelled).
If there’s nothing to show, the page says “No Upcoming Events” (or “No Events Yet” with past events included), with a link to the guide for posting an event.
Our team’s posts
Section titled “Our team’s posts”Under the events, We’re Looking for Events shows the Teams Looking posts your organizations have posted. Each line has the dates (linked to the post page), the organization, and how many events fit it right now, or “filled” once you’ve found one. The pencil (Edit this post) opens the post form.
With no posts, you’ll see a link to Post that we’re looking. Include past events also adds posts whose dates have passed.
On a phone
Section titled “On a phone”Cards stack in one column, and the status buttons and counts wrap. In the spreadsheet, swipe sideways to see the counts and the action links.
