Account Settings page

Account Settings, at /account, is where you change your name and phone, pick your state, see and leave your organizations, choose which emails you get, manage how you log in, and download or delete your data. Your login email shows under the heading.

Open it from Account Settings in the account menu at the top right. Logged out, the page asks you to log in.

The menu on the left has the sections, and the one you’re in is highlighted:

Menu item What’s there
Profile Your name, title, phone, and state.
Organizations The organizations you belong to or asked to join.
Email Notifications A switch for each kind of email.
Security Password, passkeys, authenticator app, connected accounts, email address, other devices. See Account Settings: Security.
Data Download your data or delete your account.

A save shows “Saved.” in a green note that rises from the bottom of the screen and goes away after 2 seconds. If something went wrong, the problem shows next to the section’s button and stays.

Field Required What to enter
Name Yes Your name as coaches will see it. Up to 100 characters.
Title No Like “Head coach” or “Club director”. Up to 60 characters.
Phone No Up to 30 characters. Used as the default contact phone on events and posts you post.
Your state No The state the app opens for you. Logging in from the home page opens it. Clear it to stay on the home page when you log in.

Select Save profile at the bottom of the section to save all of them together. Your email is your login; change it under Security. The home page is always one click away: select the logo. See Getting around.

Each organization you belong to is listed with its type and your role (View, Contributor, or Admin), or “request pending” if an admin hasn’t answered yet. The name links to the organization page.

  • Leave asks you to confirm, then removes you from the organization. Getting back in needs an admin’s approval again. If you’re its only admin and other people still belong to it, the app stops you and asks you to make someone else an admin first.
  • Cancel request asks you to confirm, then withdraws a pending request to join.

With no organizations, the section says that’s fine for parents and fans. Join an organization opens the welcome page to search for one, and Add an organization opens Add an organization.

Each switch turns one kind of email on or off and saves right away:

Switch Emails it covers
Changes to my organization’s events made by someone else Someone else edits, changes the status of, or cancels an event you posted, or one at an organization you’re an admin of.
Requests to join my organizations (admins) Someone asks to join an organization you’re an admin of, and the reminder when a request has waited 7 days.
“Is this event still open?” check-ins The periodic check-in about your organization’s open events. See Check-in emails.
“Post next year’s event?” reminders After one of your organization’s events ends.
Saved searches: new matching events and teams All your saved search and post emails. Turning this off stops them all at once.
Changes to events I’m watching Status changes on events you watch.
Registration deadline reminders A reminder before registration closes on events you watch.
Messages from other coaches An email for each new message in your conversations. Messages still arrive in Messages. See Messages.

Weekly summary instead, the last switch, puts every saved search and post email into one email on Monday mornings, even saved searches set to Right away on the Saved Searches page. With it off, each saved search and post arrives as it’s set: right away or in the daily digest.

Security is where you change your password or email address, add a passkey, set up an authenticator app, and connect a Google or Microsoft account. It has its own article: Account Settings: Security. See also Security.

The section is headed Your Data.

  • Download my data downloads a file with everything the app stores about you.
  • Delete account opens a confirmation dialog.

Deleting removes your profile, memberships, saved searches, and your login. Events you posted stay with your organization, and your name on their history shows “Former member.” It can’t be undone.

If you’re the only admin of an organization, the organization isn’t left without one: its longest-standing contributor becomes admin, or its longest-standing member if it has no contributors. That person gets “You’re now an admin of Organization”. If you’re the only member, nobody takes over, and the next person from the organization to join becomes its admin.

To delete, type DELETE in Type DELETE to confirm and select Delete account. Keep my account closes the dialog. You’re logged out when it’s done.

The menu becomes a button above the section that names the one you’re on; tap it to open the list. The notification switches stack one per line, and the buttons at the bottom of each section wrap if they don’t fit side by side.
