Organization page

Every school, club, and other organization has a public page of its own. It shows who runs the organization, the events it hosts, and a calendar feed anyone can subscribe to. A menu on the left splits it into pages.

On a phone the menu is a row of links above the page when it fits on one line (Overview, Events, Calendar), and otherwise a button that names the page you’re on; tap it to open the list.

Above every page: the logo (or a school or club icon when there’s none), the name, and the type and city, like “High school · Pierz, MN”.

The main button depends on who you are:

Button Who sees it What it does
Log in to join Visitors Opens the login page.
Ask to join Logged in, not a member Sends a join request to the admins. Your request shows as “Your request is pending”. To add a note, ask from the welcome page instead.
Join as admin Logged in, organization has no admin Makes you its admin right away.

Tags under the header show Verified or Unverified, and your status: “Your request is pending” or “You:” and your role. An unverified organization’s events are public, marked “Posted by a new organization”, and it can have up to 5 upcoming events. It verifies on its own; see New organizations and reports.

Messages at the top of the overview:

  • “You’re an admin of” the organization, after you add it or join as its first admin.
  • “You’re a member of” the organization with your role, like “(Contributor)”, after you accept an invite.
  • “Request sent. You’ll get an email when an admin answers.” after you ask to join from the welcome page.
  • “This organization was merged.” with a link to the current page, if the site admin merged it into another one.

Details shows the street address and website, or “No address or website yet.”

Team Size, for logged-in coaches, shows how many wrestlers the team has in each division this season, when its coach has entered them on Our Season.

Admins lists each admin’s name and title. With no admins, it says the first person from the organization to join becomes its admin.

Report a problem with this organization opens a short form. Describe it in What’s wrong?, like a wrong address or someone who claimed the organization and shouldn’t have. Logged out, you also enter Your email. Send report saves it, and the page thanks you. When three different people report the same organization, the site admins get an email.

Upcoming Events lists the organization’s upcoming events as event cards. With none, it says “No Upcoming Events”. Members also see events hidden after reports. Contributors and admins get a Post event button, which opens the form with this organization as the host.

Looking for Events lists the organization’s open Teams Looking posts, one line each. Select one to open the post page. Contributors and admins get Post that we’re looking. With none: “No open posts.”

Subscribe in your calendar opens your calendar app to add the organization’s events. New and changed events show up by themselves. Calendar address, with Copy, is the same feed as a link: paste it into Google Calendar under Other calendars, From URL. Anyone can subscribe to it.

Contributors and admins also get On Your Website:

  • Embed code, with Copy. Paste it into your website’s HTML to show your team’s live schedule: the events you host and the ones your team marked as attending. Add ?show=hosted for only the events you host, ?level=high_school, middle_school, or youth to the address in the code to show one level, ?limit=10 for fewer events, or ?theme=dark for dark pages. Combine them with &.
  • A preview of the embedded list.

See Calendars and Website embed.
