Welcome page
The welcome page, at /welcome, is where new accounts connect to a school or organization. You land here after Sign up, and Join an organization under Account Settings > Organizations brings you back any time.
Joining is optional. Parents and fans can skip it and still save searches and watch events. To post events or posts, you need to belong to an organization as a contributor or admin.
Logged out, the page asks you to log in or create an account first.
Your organization
Section titled “Your organization”Find your school or organization is a search box. Type at least two letters of a school, club, or city. Matches list below it with the name, type, and city, like “Hopkins High School · High school · Minnetonka, MN”.
The search covers one state at a time. When the site serves more than one state, a State dropdown sits beside the search box. It starts on Your state from your Account Settings page, or on the last state you looked at in this browser. If your school is in another state, pick that state and the matches update.
Select your organization to see a card with its name and city. What happens next depends on whether it has an admin yet:

Choose a different one goes back to the search.
Organization not listed
Section titled “Organization not listed”If the search says “No matches”, select My organization isn’t listed. Public high schools and middle schools are listed already; private, charter, and parochial schools may not be yet, so add yours this way. The form to add one opens in place; it’s the same form as Add an organization. Its State starts with the state you were searching. You become the new organization’s admin. Back to search returns to the search box.
Parent or fan?
Section titled “Parent or fan?”“You don’t need an organization to save searches and watch events.” Continue without an organization takes you to the events page for the state you last looked at, or to the home page to choose a state.
On a phone
Section titled “On a phone”The page is a single column. The State dropdown sits above the search box. Search results scroll inside their own box when there are many.
